Videon Expands Board of Directors with Tech and Finance Experience
State College, PA -- Videon Central announced the addition of two members to its Board of Directors, bringing deep technical industry knowledge and financial expertise to reinforce the company’s growth and new product development.
Dr. Nikhil Balram, president and CEO of Ricoh Innovations, and Jim Hudak, president of CIT Corporate Finance, are the newest board members.
“At Videon, our new Ultra HD products are receiving a great response and our business is growing rapidly. With Nikhil’s tech experience and Jim’s financial acumen, they will be a huge asset to our growth. We’re proud to have them on our board,” Todd Erdley, president and CEO of Videon, said.
The board’s expansion is a continuation of Videon’s pivot from an engineering services company to a B2B products company.
As president and CEO of Ricoh Innovations Corporation in Silicon Valley, Dr. Balram develops innovative technologies and creates new businesses for Ricoh. With more than 20 years of experience, he is widely hailed throughout industry and academia as an expert and innovator in advanced information and display technologies. The Society for Information Display, a renowned display industry organization, recently awarded Dr. Balram the 2016 Otto Schade Prize honoring his “outstanding scientific or technical achievement in, or contribution to, the advancement of functional performance and/or image quality of information displays.”
“Developing products and rolling them out to the market is a tricky business and something I have built my career around in Silicon Valley. As Videon enters its next phase as a B2B products company, I’m excited to offer my guidance and see where this company goes from here,” he said.
Jim Hudak has more than 25 years of experience in corporate and leverage banking. For the past six years, he has run the Corporate Finance Group at CIT servicing the specialized financing and advisory needs of small and middle market companies.
“This company is on the verge of big things so I’m thrilled to be invited to join the board. I hope my experience in keeping business financially stable through periods of growth will aid Videon as it enters its next phase,” he said.
